Green Bay Packers fans taunted Jerry Jones following their team’s win over the Washington Commanders on Thursday night, and Micah Parsons seemed to enjoy every second of it.
Parsons recorded half a sack in what was another dominant overall effort from the Packers’ defense in their 27-18 win over the Commanders at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. Washington was held to just 250 yards of total offense and could not hang with the Packers, who got 292 passing yards from Jordan Love.
Parsons joined Amazon’s postgame show on the field after the game, and Packers fans began chanting “thank you, Jerry!” That was an obvious reference to the Dallas Cowboys trading Parsons to Green Bay last month.
Parsons loved the chants and tried to hype the crowd up even more.

The Packers traded two first-round draft picks and Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark to Dallas for Parsons. They then signed the star pass-rusher to a contract worth $47 million per year, which makes Parsons the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
Parsons had at least 12 sacks in each of his first four NFL seasons. He is off to a productive start in Green Bay with 1.5 sacks through two games, and he has been limited due to a back injury.
Jones seems to think the Cowboys will be better off without Parsons both in the short and long term. Packers fans are thrilled the 82-year-old felt that way.
