Michael Bennett explains why he wants to win for Doug Pederson

Michael Bennett shared some high praise for head coach Doug Pederson.
Bennett is in his first season with the Philadelphia Eagles after spending the previous nine years of his career with Seattle and Tampa Bay. Bennett has connected with his new head coach and says he wants to win for the coach because of the way Pederson treats him with respect.
#Eagles DE Michael Bennett has strong feelings for Coach Doug Pederson: “You want to win for Doug because he respects you as a man and not a lot of coaches treat you like that in the NFL so you want the guy to keep his job and for him to do that, you have to win.”

Bennett is the same guy who admitted he read books during team meetings in Seattle, so to have him this engaged says a lot about the coach. It also could help explain why Pederson had so much success last season when he led the Eagles to their first Super Bowl championship ever.
