The Miami Dolphins are concerned about the status of center Mike Pouncey for the team’s game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
Pouncey pulled himself out of Wednesday’s practice because his hip was bothering him, and he did not practice on Thursday. The Miami Herald’s Adam H. Beasley says Pouncey’s availability for Sunday’s game is “in doubt” because of the hip.
Pouncey missed four games to start the season because of his hip and has had three surgeries on his hips since 2014.
The Dolphins will be without offensive lineman Branden Albert for the game, as he has a wrist injury. If Pouncey were unable to play, that would leave Miami thin at offensive line.
