Miko Grimes allegedly headbutted a police officer

The details surrounding Miko Grimes’ arrest prior to Sunday’s Dolphins-Bills game are starting to come out, and her alleged behavior is alarming.

Grimes, who is the wife of Dolphins CB Brent Grimes, was arrested by Miami-Dade police and charged with battery of a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest with violence.

Grimes is accused of breaking through a restricted area despite warnings from police officers and then becoming belligerent, telling them they couldn’t tell her what she could do. She apparently was seen as a threat to officers and was taken down to the ground. She allegedly only calmed down after being threatened with a Taser.

Local 10 News in Miami says Grimes allegedly head-butted a police officer and continued swinging her elbows and kicking as she was put into a police car.

Brent was made aware of the incident after the game but did not comment about it to reporters. Here is video from the incident.
