Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky looks likely to miss at least one week due to an injury to his left throwing shoulder.
The quarterback is undergoing tests Monday morning to determine the severity of his injury and the possible length of his absence. No matter how those tests turn out, Trubisky is considered doubtful to suit up Sunday against the Oakland Raiders in London, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
#Bears QB Mitch Trubisky is having tests on his left, non-throwing shoulder as we speak, and it’s doubtful that he plays this week in London against the #Raiders. The team will learn today if he’s able to come back after the bye and what his timetable is.

As noted, the Bears have a Week 6 bye, which could prove helpful in Trubisky’s recovery. He went down very hard on his left shoulder during Sunday’s game and was spotted on the sidelines later in the contest with his arm in a sling.
Trubisky has thrown three touchdowns to two interceptions this season. The good news for the Bears is backup Chase Daniel looked quite competent replacing him and led Chicago to a win anyway. He’ll get the nod again for Week 5 assuming Trubisky can’t go.
