Former Denver Broncos running back Montee Ball was arrested over the weekend for allegedly violating his bail.
Under the conditions of his bond, Ball was prohibited from drinking alcohol or being in a bar or tavern. WKOW in Wisconsin reports that police were called to 841 Brewhouse, where Ball was arrested after police said he smelled like alcohol. The 25-year-old denied that he had been drinking and refused to submit to a breathalyzer or blood draw. Ball’s blood was drawn after a warrant was served, but the results have not yet been released.
Ball has been out on bond and is facing charges for two separate domestic violence accusations by two different women. The first incident, which you can read about here, led to Ball being released from the New England Patriots practice squad. His short-lived NFL career is likely over.
