Free agent linebacker Mychal Kendricks is furious over a report that claims he has agreed to sign with the Cleveland Browns.
On Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported that Kendricks has agreed to a one-year deal with Cleveland. Kendricks replied to the tweet Rapoport sent by saying the longtime NFL.com reporter “will never have my respect.”

Kendricks later spoke with Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press and seemed extremely angry.
Mychal Kendricks on report he is signing with the Browns: 1/2: “No, it’s not accurate. I don’t know who the (bleep) said that. That (bleep) is (bleep). Whoever said that (bleep) is (bleep). That’s all I have to say, man. I’m not really talking to anybody else about it…

LB Mychal Kendricks on report he's signing with the Browns, 2/2. " It’s (bleep). I don’t like people like that. I don’t respect people like that. And that’s all I have to say.’’

For what it’s worth, Kendricks’ own agent admitted the Browns are the favorite to sign the linebacker but said no agreement has been reached. Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com confirmed Rapoport’s initial report and said a deal is expected to be signed by Monday.
It still seems like Kendricks is going to end up with the Browns. If that is the case, he obviously didn’t want that information leaking out before the deal is completed.
Kendricks, 27, appeared in 15 games for the Eagles in each of the past two seasons. The former second-round pick recorded 77 total tackles and two sacks while helping the Eagles win a Super Bowl last year.
