Report: NFL players ‘extremely emotional’ about Donald Trump comments
President Donald Trump’s comments about the NFL and protesting players have certainly shaken the league, and the Buffalo Bills are no exception.
On Friday night, Trump made several controversial comments at a rally in Alabama. His remarks about how the NFL’s player safety initiatives have led to the league being softer and less entertaining were remarkable in themselves, but drawing far more attention were his comments that owners should fire players who kneel during the national anthem.
ESPN’s Jeff Darlington reported that these comments have stirred a lot of emotion among NFL players, and there is a chance that the league could see more protests on Sunday in light of this.

Commissioner Roger Goodell has issued his own response to Trump, but it sounds as if there is a chance a large group of players across the league could make an even more pointed statement on Sunday.
