NFL teams reportedly knew about Christian Kirk arrest before draft
Even though news of Christian Kirk’s February arrest just became public knowledge on Monday, NFL teams apparently knew about it before the draft.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported on Monday that teams knew about the arrest and still described the former Texas A&M receiver as having high character.
On #AZCardinals WR Christian Kirk: Teams knew about the arrest before the draft, though the media did not. And still, scouts and GMs described him as having the highest character possible, saying they wish they had 53 Kirks. It was resounding. AZ clearly believes in him.

Rapoport also reports that the incident report cited a person who was lying on a bench as their source. That person said he saw Kirk and a friend throwing rocks at cars at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
From Christian Kirk incident report: The person police cited as their source was lying on a bench & not watching while the van window was broken. The person said he saw Kirk and a friend throwing rocks at other cars, seeing them walk away. No damage was reported on other cars.
