Nick Bosa does flag plant as revenge on Baker Mayfield
Nick Bosa waited two years but finally got revenge on Baker Mayfield.
Bosa beat a double team and got to Mayfield just before halftime of the San Francisco 49ers’ game against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night. He was tackling Mayfield for a sack, and the Browns quarterback just threw the ball away, getting an intentional grounding penalty.
After pressuring Mayfield for the near sack, Bosa got up and mimicked Baker’s flag plant from the Oklahoma-Ohio State game in 2017.

Mayfield led Oklahoma to a 31-16 upset win at Ohio State that year and then brought a Sooners flag to the middle of the field and planted it.

He later apologized for the move after being pressured to do so. Bosa, of course, played at Ohio State prior to being drafted by the 49ers.
