Nick Foles leaves Week 1 with shoulder injury
Nick Foles got off to a good start in his Jacksonville Jaguars debut on Sunday, but he was forced to leave the game early with an injury.
Foles injured his shoulder while being hit on a deep touchdown pass to second-year receiver DJ Chark. You can see in the clip below that Foles took a hit from multiple Kansas City Chiefs defenders on the throw:

Foles was immediately taken to the locker room and evaluated, and observers noticed that it looked like he could not lift his left (non-throwing) arm over his head. The Jaguars quickly ruled him out for the remainder of the game.
The Jaguars are hoping the addition of Foles will help get them back to the postseason, but any type of extended absence for the veteran quarterback would be a rough way to start the season.
