Odell Beckham denies wrongdoing, says he will not be extorted
An attorney for Odell Beckham Jr. on Tuesday responded to new allegations from a man suing the New York Giants receiver. In his statement, the attorney defended his client, saying Beckham denies any wrongdoing and will not be extorted.

The statement also says that Beckham is preparing a complaint for civil extortion.
The new allegations say Beckham’s team initially offered $225,000 to drop the lawsuit but later rescinded. That could be because they are preparing to claim extortion.
The man suing Beckham claims he attended a party hosted by the Giants receiver and had a gun pulled on him and was beaten up while there by Beckham’s bodyguard. Beckham says the man showed up to the party drunk and belligerent and was asked to leave.
