Odell Beckham Jr. has not allowed his desire for a long-term contract extension to stand in the way of his offseason preparation with the New York Giants, and it appears as though that theme will continue when organized team activities begin.
ESPN’s Josina Anderson reported on Friday that Beckham is expected to be in attendance Monday when the Giants begin Phase 3 of their offseason program, which is voluntary.
I'm told #Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) will attend voluntary OTA's, per source. The #Giants begin Phase 3 of the offseason conditioning program Monday, May 21st. Beckham will show, even as the star receiver & the team have yet to come to terms on a contract extension.

Beckham was already present for both voluntary workouts and minicamp last month, so this is yet another sign that he is trying to help resolve his contract situation without holding out. That could change as we get closer to training camp, but for now Beckham seems intent on maintaining a healthy relationship with the team.
When you take into consideration some of the earlier reports we heard about Beckham’s contract situation, it could only be a matter of time before the star wide receiver stops playing nice.
