Odell Beckham Jr traded to Cleveland Browns
Fans in Cleveland better get their popcorn ready for the upcoming season.
The Browns acquired wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr in a trade with the New York Giants on Tuesday, as first reported by NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo. The trade finally puts an end to rumors that have been circulating for over a year about the Giants potentially trading Beckham. The Browns had been mentioned since last week as a likely destination for him.
The price Cleveland is paying is hefty. They are trading safety Jabril Peppers, a first-round pick and third-round pick to the Giants as part of the deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Here are the trade terms: Giants recieve a first-round pick in 2019 (No. 17 overall), the Browns' second third-round pick this year and S Jabril Peppers, source tells ESPN. Browns get Odell Beckham Jr.

The Giants signed Beckham to a 5-year, $90 million contract last year but seemingly had buyer’s remorse immediately. He only played in 12 games last season, catching 77 passes for 1,052 yards and 6 touchdowns. The deal will reunite Beckham with his former teammate at LSU, Jarvis Landry.
