OL Alex Boone signs with Cardinals

Alex Boone has found a new home in the desert.

Boone agreed to terms with the Arizona Cardinals, his agent said on Twitter Tuesday.

Boone was released by the Vikings on Saturday. The 30-year-old had signed a big four-year deal with Minnesota last year but only lasted one season with the team. The Vikings wanted Boone to take a pay cut but he refused, leading to his release on cutdown day.

Boone should slide into the left guard spot on Arizona’s offensive line.
