Orlando Scandrick’s Philadelphia Eagles career was an up-and-down ride that ended up being relatively short-lived.
The veteran found himself released on Monday, one day after surrendering the first touchdown of the Week 7 game against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys. And in Scandrick’s mind, he was nothing more than a scapegoat for a team ripe with accountability issues.
Former Eagles CB Orlando Scandrick on Undisputed called his release "scapegoat-ish" and said "where there's smoke, there's fire" about Eagles locker room and there are "accountability issues."

Scandrick didn’t stop there during his Friday morning appearance on Undisputed with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe, ripping the entire Eagles organization, their locker-room culture, and calling general manager Howie Roseman a snake oil salesman before calling Malcolm Jenkins a selfish player.
"I don’t believe anything Howie Roseman says. Howie is one of the people if he told me it was raining outside, I’d probably get some shorts just in case."

Yikes.

The Eagles are in clear disarray and this is not the first time their locker room chemistry has been questioned, but Scandrick seemed unusually salty while breaking several unwritten football laws by airing dirty laundry publicly.
Ironically, Scandrick’s comments could be the fuel that feeds Philadelphia, potentially leading to more cohesion and a turnaround. Or it could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and plunges the franchise into complete chaos.
Either way, the fallout from Scandrick’s tell-all interview will be worth keeping an eye on.
