Report: Packers ignoring Aaron Rodgers trade inquiries
Aaron Rodgers still has not announced any decisions about his future, but the Green Bay Packers are operating as though they expect him back in 2022.
There are several teams that would have interest in trading for Rodgers if he wants out of Green Bay. Some of those teams have already reached out to the Packers, according to Jordan Schultz. The Packers have not entertained any discussions, however.
Several teams – inc the #Broncos – have been reaching out to the #Packers about Aaron Rodgers. The issue? Green Bay has shown zero interest. With the Tom Clements hire, there’s a growing internal belief in GB that the two-time reigning MVP will remain a Packer.

That is hardly a surprise. The Packers have made it clear that they want Rodgers to be their quarterback next season and beyond. They may even be willing to sacrifice their long-term future to build a championship-caliber team around the NFL MVP. Unless Rodgers tells them he wants to play elsewhere, they have little reason to pick up the phone.
Rodgers spoke glowingly about the Packers when he accepted his MVP award last week, so the relationship appears to be in a good place. Green Bay also recently made a coaching move that seems to be geared toward pleasing Rodgers.
