Patriots DE Adrian Clayborn has recovered from quad injury
There is no reason to be concerned about the status of Adrian Clayborn, according to a report.
The Athletic Patriots reporter Jeff Howe says that Clayborn has recovered from the quad injury he suffered earlier in offseason workouts. Howe says Clayborn could appear at phase three of the New England Patriots’ offseason team activities on Tuesday and if he’s not, it could be as a precaution.
Adrian Clayborn has recovered from the minor quad injury that he suffered earlier in the offseason workout program, per source. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him tomorrow at OTA. If he’s not there, it’d be an exercise in extreme caution on the team’s part. Either way, no concern.

Clayborn, 29, signed a two-year, $12 million contract with the Patriots in the offseason. Clayborn has a history of knee and biceps injuries, which cost him significant time in 2012 and 2014. The former first-round pick had 9.5 sacks last season for the Falcons.
