Watch: Patriots defense calls out Lions’ play
The Detroit Lions must be in denial about opposing teams figuring out their offensive signals.
During the first quarter of Sunday night’s game, the New England Patriots’ defense was heard calling out a Lions play before it happened.
“It’s a toss,” the Patriots said.
The Pats then blew up the Lions’ toss for a big loss.

The Jets said after smashing the Lions in Week 1 that they knew what was coming because they had figured out the Lions’ offensive signals. Matt Patricia brushed that aside during the days that ensued, but if this shows us anything, it’s that the Lions should be worried about changing up their signs more.
