Audio of the 911 call placed when private investigators showed up at Charlie Sly’s home revealed that they allegedly claimed to be law enforcement.
On Thursday, the Washington Post reported that Peyton Manning hired private investigators to find out the source of the HGH allegations levied against him. The investigation led them to Charlie Sly’s house, and Sly’s sister called police when they did.
The audio of the 911 call claims that the investigators originally claimed to be law enforcement, but were not able to present badges.
The original Washington Post report stated that the investigators had calmed the Slys and were cordial by the time police arrived, and were allowed to speak to Charlie Sly the next day, who recanted his original claims.
This remains a weird and very shady story. We know that Ashley Manning did receive something from the Guyer Institute. Al Jazeera contends it was illegally-obtained HGH. Whatever the case, this story definitely isn’t over.
