Police release body cam footage from October Reuben Foster incident
Santa Clara police issued body camera video from police responding to an Oct. 12 call to then-49ers linebacker Reuben Foster’s apartment.
Neighbors heard a loud argument between Foster and girlfriend Elissa Ennis and called the police. Neither party had any injuries, but Ennis said she was “not okay.”
The video, obtained by Bay Area New Group, doesn’t contain much, and neither party was arrested, with Ennis saying the argument began when she found “things … that upset her” on Foster’s phone.
This is the second of three incidents Ennis described in a recent interview. While the video shows nothing incriminating, it’s clear that there was a pattern here from Foster, who has since been claimed by the Washington Redskins under controversial circumstances.
