The Indianapolis Colts could move on from superstar running back Jonathan Taylor, although time is running out before the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
The Colts were hesitant at first to take offers for Taylor, but recent reports stated that they are in discussions with a few teams.
ESPN’s Dan Graziano said he does believe Taylor gets traded, and he names the New York Giants as a team that could acquire him.
“I do get the sense, though, that enough teams are interested in Taylor that it’s too soon for the Colts to think about lowering their demands. I would guess he gets traded, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it was the Giants who made that move,” Graziano wrote.
The Giants were one of the teams in the initial report from Adam Schefter, and now Graziano doubles down on the interest in the superstar running back.
Cam Skattebo leads the Giants with 418 yards and 2 scores, although he was demoted in October before responding with a 124-yard performance on Oct. 25 against the Houston Texans.
It remains to be seen whether or not the Giants, or any team, will pay the price the Colts want, which is reportedly a first-round pick.
But the Giants being mentioned again as a team of interest is somewhat telling, and the deadline is only a few days away.
