Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams had a big Super Bowl, and he may be getting a redo on a decision he may regret.
Williams swapped jerseys with Kansas City Chiefs counterpart Raheem Mostert after the game, a decision even his mother questioned after the victory. If Williams is regretting that decision, Mostert said Wednesday he’d be happy to return that jersey.
Raheem Mostert said he's more than happy to send Damien Williams' SB jersey back if he wants it. (The swap was Williams' idea).
"If he calls me back and he's like, 'Hey, can we swap jerseys back?' then I'm more than happy to. Because I know the sentimental value it has to him."— Matt Barrows (@mattbarrows) February 5, 2020
Williams had the biggest touchdown of the game, albeit under controversial circumstances, then finished things off with a decisive touchdown. He might be kicking himself a bit after passing his valuable memento on, but Mostert is being a great sport about it.
