Idea of Raiders in San Diego makes Philip Rivers ‘a little nauseated’
Philip Rivers would not like the Oakland Raiders to end up in San Diego.
The Chargers are about to move to Los Angeles, and the Raiders, still eyeing relocation, will be assessing their options. San Diego has been mentioned as a potential destination, with the Chargers vacating the city.
Rivers is not a fan of that idea.
“That one is going to get me a little nauseated, to be honest with you,” Rivers told Mighty 1090 AM this week, via NFL Media’s Kevin Patra. “The thought of that one is a little sickening. That one is hard to stomach. It’s hard enough thinking about moving. The thought of the Raiders being here and us not might be tougher than all the rest.”
Easy to see why Rivers would feel that way. It would be a bit like watching your rival steal your wife. I bet he’d much prefer to see them move to San Antonio if given the choice. Luckily for him, the San Diego Raiders is almost certainly a longshot.
