According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the teams are swapping a 5th for a 6th-round pick.
Patterson is a speedy receiver and kick returner, but he didn’t factor into the Raider offense in a big way in 2017, with only 31 catches. He has always seen himself as a big-play threat who deserves a big role in any offense, but the Patriots would figure to want him mostly for his return skills, which could mean the end of Matthew Slater’s time in New England.
