Are the LA Rams interested in Carson Wentz, or are they just sending out intentional mixed messages?
FOX NFL reporter Peter Schrager says the Rams and Wentz met for dinner on Monday night nearby the team’s facility:

Rams brass with Wentz now, at a restaurant near the team facility. They wouldn't be wasting his time if they weren't considering him at 1.

If the team’s facility is in Agoura, Calif., that means they weren’t too far from LBS headquarters. Next time we’ll drive to every restaurant in town to confirm.
But this begs the real question: How legitimate is the Rams’ interest in Wentz? It’s almost a certainty that they will be taking a quarterback at No. 1. You don’t make a massive trade up to land the top pick unless you want a quarterback. Keep in mind reports say the team plans to take Jared Goff. Maybe they’re just trying to keep teams on their toes.
