St. Louis football fans are, quite understandably, not taking the departure of the Rams well. In fact, one fan has voices his displeasure by producing a Super Bowl ad slamming Stan Kroenke.
St. Louis fan and lawyer Terry Crouppen is the man behind the 30 second spot, and he discusses how Rams fans were loyal, drank the team’s “overpriced beer,” and cheered the team on “year after losing year.” The ad concludes with a direct address to Kroenke: “Just because it’s legal and you’re rich enough to do it doesn’t make it right.”
The commercial will air locally during Sunday’s game.
Kroenke is a deeply unpopular figure in St. Louis for moving the Rams to Los Angeles, as fans have derisively chanted his name at Blues games. Of course, in Kroenke’s own mind, he’s the victim in all of this.
