There are many fans in the St. Louis area who are angry that their NFL franchise is relocating to Los Angeles, and the vast majority of that anger has been directed toward Rams owner Stan Kroenke.
Rams fans feel that Kroenke lied to them about his intentions when he bought the team in 2010 and has remained silent since, all the while working toward his goal to move to L.A. After Kroenke’s proposal for a stadium in Inglewood was approved Tuesday night, St. Louis Blues fans broke out an overwhelming “Kroenke sucks!” chant during their team’s game against the New Jersey Devils.

This is hardly a surprise. Kroenke trashed the city of St. Louis in his official application for relocation last week, insisting that no NFL team would be interested in the plan for a new stadium in Missouri and labeling St. Louis a two-sport town.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that NFL owners were “blown away” by the Inglewood proposal and underwhelmed by the plans for a stadium in Carson. The Inglewood project could cost nearly $2 billion, and you can read more about it here.
