Report: Randy Gregory failed multiple drug tests since suspension

Randy-Gregory

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory reportedly failed more than one drug test after he was suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

According to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report, Gregory failed “multiple tests” since the league suspended him. The suspension came after Gregory’s second violation, with the first being when he was caught smoking marijuana at the NFL Combine before the 2015 NFL Draft.

In the wake of the latest violations, Gregory will likely be suspended for at least the first 10 games of the upcoming season. However, he is not expected to be present for the start training camp and has instead checked into a rehabilitation facility. If you read the report we shared with with you earlier, you’ll understand why football could be the last thing on Gregory’s mind.

After he tested positive for marijuana at the Combine, Gregory slipped into the second round. The Cowboys took a chance on him and it did not pay off. It’s starting to sound like it never will, either.
