Randy Gregory eating In-N-Out and pizza every day to gain weight
Randy Gregory is on the dream diet for most people.
Gregory, a second-round pick in this year’s draft by the Cowboys, has been asked to put weight onto his 235-pound frame so he won’t be pushed around by NFL linemen. He says he has been chowing down on burgers and pizza to accomplish that goal.
“I live on In-N-Out, probably go to In-N-Out every day,” Gregory said in an interview with KRLD via the Dallas Morning News. “I lived on the West Coast. I’ve had Whataburger. I had that about 3 o’clock in the morning one time, I think when I first came out here to visit. Wasn’t too impressed. Any calories I put in is good, they don’t care what it is. I probably order pizza every other night. The important thing is I’m gaining weight. That’s what they wanted.”
I guess when you’re trying to put on some pounds, you’ll take them any way you can, so even eating junk food is acceptable.
The Cowboys once tried this strategy with another undersized defensive end, and he ended up struggling with the team. Let’s hope this works out better for them. But if Kobe Bryant could score 81 points on a stomach full of pepperoni pizza, we’re guessing Gregory can sack a quarterback or two with a bunch of In-N-Out in his gut.
