The Ravens received a gift this week from a Massachusetts brewery that contained the question seemingly everyone outside of Baltimore loves to have fun with.
Joe Flacco has become a polarizing figure after his run of impressive performances during the 2012 playoffs helped him secure Super Bowl MVP honors and a huge contract. Since then, his place among the NFL’s quarterbacks is one that is often debated. The “Is Joe Flacco elite?” question is some seriously argue while others say it jokingly. It was even asked to Donald Trump during a Twitter Q&A session.
Now, the question is on the bottom of a few thousand beer cans produced by Tree House Brewing Company. Take a look below.
The idea came from Andrew Pillsbury, who works on the packaging line and indicated there isn’t a clear cut answer.
“We go back and forth,” Pillsbury told ESPN. “In the regular season, he doesn’t look too elite. But sometimes he comes through there in the playoffs, and it gives us a little scare. But we got Tom Brady, so we’re not really worried.”
While many are undecided on the Flacco elite question, Chip Kelly isn’t among them.
