Joe Flacco may have overthrown a wide open receiver and blown an opportunity to change his team’s fate against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, but Donald Trump was not discouraged.
During a Twitter Q&A on Monday, Trump was asked if he believes Flacco is an elite quarterback. He threw his full support behind the Baltimore Ravens signal-caller.

“I think that Joe Flacco is, actually, a very elite quarterback,” Trump said. “He won a Super Bowl. He did it really, to a certain extent, with that great arm of his. I would say absolutely he is an elite quarterback.”
Well, that settles that debate. We weren’t really sold when this NFL head coach said Flacco is elite, but now we have to agree.
While Flacco may not be Trump’s favorite NFL quarterback (that honor belongs to this guy), The Donald probably just secured himself a few more votes in Maryland.
