Report: Eagles CB Ronald Darby has dislocated ankle

Ronald Darby ankle

Ronald Darby’s debut with the Philadelphia Eagles had an unfortunate ending.

The Philly cornerback suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter while covering Washington tight end Jordan Reed in their Week 1 game on Sunday.

Darby was carted off after the injury and was replaced by Patrick Robinson.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says Darby has a dislocated ankle and will undergo an MRI to determine further damage.

The dislocation seemed evident to the naked eye.

Darby was acquired by Philly in a trade with Buffalo before the season.
