Josh McDaniels looks like he will need to find himself a new agent.
ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported on Wednesday that McDaniels is being terminated by his agent after the Indianapolis Colts debacle.
Source says agent Bob LaMonte, who represents Josh McDaniels, Colts GM Chris Ballard and many other coaches/execs, is terminating his relationship with McDaniels. https://t.co/jgWVRaKW2b

Another reporter pointed out that this isn’t the first falling out between the two men. Graziano agreed and categorized their relationship as on again/off again.
That is true. LaMonte and McDaniels have had an on again/off again relationship. This one feels like it'll be tough to come back from, though. https://t.co/u9tWbUw0TS

McDaniels agreed to a deal with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday and they had called a press conference to introduce him. They even had hired some assistant coaches for his staff. McDaniels left the Colts, as well as those coaches, hanging out to dry. Not only that, but McDaniels also appeared to flirt with some coaching vacancies last year only to decide he didn’t want to leave the Patriots. There’s only so long you can pull off things like that before you burn bridges, which reflects poorly on your representation and makes it hard for them to do their jobs.
McDaniels’ agent reportedly told him he was making a huge mistake by backing out on the Colts, so to hear that it’s come to this probably isn’t too surprising.
