Mychael Kendricks’ career is looking up. The Philadelphia Eagles linebacker not only had a great season, but he is also the object of affection for singer Rihanna.
There’s a game on Instagram where women can list their “Man Crush” on Mondays by posting a photo of a guy and tagging it #MCM for “Man Crush Monday.” The same goes for guys with #WCW on “Woman Crush Wednesday.”
On Monday, Rihanna listed Kendricks, a second-year linebacker from Cal, as her “Man Crush Monday.”
“Is it Monday? Cuz chhh…. #MCM” Rihanna wrote.
Rihanna has dated Los Angeles Dodgers OF Matt Kemp and been linked to New York Knicks guard JR Smith, so she does have a thing for athletes.
Kendricks got some praise from a fellow athlete for being spotted by Rihanna:

But Kendricks wasn’t interested in talking with the media about Rihanna.
“Some of the guys told me about it. They were busting my chops a little,” Kendricks said Monday via CSN Philly’s John Gonzalez.
Asked if he’d like to meet her, Kendricks answered, “I don’t want to talk about this, y’all.”
Look, Mychal, I know getting with Rihanna may sound like a lot of fun, but you don’t want to go there. Go and look at what kind of season Kemp put up when he was with her. You just had 106 tackles, four sacks and three interceptions this season. You don’t want to ruin your career with the Rihanna curse, now do you?
