WR Rishard Matthews expects to sign with new team soon
Rishard Matthews was released by the Tennessee Titans last week at his request, and the free agent wide receiver does not expect to be unemployed for long.
Matthews, who had been representing himself, has decided to hire NFL super-agent Drew Rosenhaus. On Thursday, Rosenhaus said multiple teams are interested in Matthews and he expects the 28-year-old to sign a contract soon.

Matthews, a seventh-round draft pick of the Miami Dolphins in 2012, had 65 catches for 945 yards in his first season with the Titans in 2016 and then 53 receptions for 795 yards last year. He had also been a big red zone contributor, scoring 13 total touchdowns in those two seasons.
Things changed this year, as Matthews missed time in training camp with a knee injury and then seemingly found himself buried on the depth chart. Teams that are dealing with injuries or are in need of wide receiver help could do a lot worse.
