The internet was not kind to Romeo Doubs on Sunday.
Doubs had a huge game for the Green Bay Packers in their “Sunday Night Football” contest against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. He had 6 catches for 58 yards and a career-high 3 touchdowns.
Doubs wears a Guardian Cap, which is a lightweight shell that fits over a football player’s helmet. It’s designed to help reduce the impact of hits to the head, and the tradeoff is it’s pretty big.

Of course, the photos of Doubs in his big helmet led to plenty of memes.

I think it's great that the NFL allows player to wear Guardian Caps over their traditional helmets.

But, everytime I see the Packers' Romeo Doubs wearing his guardian cap, I think of the Great Gazoo on the Flintstones.

So long as he keeps putting up 3-touchdown games, Doubs probably won’t care about the memes he gets. The NFL and owners of Guardian Sports are probably thrilled about the success he had while wearing it.
