Tannehill was injured late in the third quarter after taking a low hit on a first down play. The Dolphins were up 21-9 when he left the game.
Backup Matt Moore entered the game and the team ended up punting on the possession. Moore entered the game with a shoulder injury and was ineffective, allowing Arizona to rally to tie the game in the fourth quarter.
Tannehill was officially listed as “out” for the rest of the game after exiting. He had thrown for 195 yards and three touchdowns prior to leaving the game.
Tannehill had led the Dolphins to a six-game winning streak that had the team in the thick of the playoff race, but their postseason hopes may now be in jeopardy.
