Santonio Holmes was excited Jets beat Brian Schottenheimer’s Rams
Santonio Holmes hasn’t played for the Jets since injuring his foot in Week 4, but that doesn’t mean he can’t gloat after the team’s wins.
Holmes specifically took a jab at current Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer on Twitter after the Jets’ 27-13 win over St. Louis on Sunday.
Good job today #NYJETS for beating up on Shotty n the #RAMS

Holmes and Schottenheimer clashed during Brian’s stint as the Jets’ offensive coordinator. Holmes criticized Schottenheimer’s playcalling, while Schottenheimer is the coach who benched Holmes during the Jets’ Week 17 loss to the Dolphins last season. There’s no doubt Holmes loved getting revenge.
Schottenheimer was also pretty fired up for the game as well; the New York Daily News reports that he pumped his fist and looked across the field after the Rams scored a touchdown on their opening drive. He must feel pretty silly for that now.
