Report: Saquon Barkley could go No. 1 to Browns
Who will the Cleveland Browns go with first overall? They may keep it simple and go with arguably the consensus best player in the NFL Draft.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Penn State running back Saquon Barkley is “firmly in the mix” to go No. 1 to Cleveland.
After days of evaluation at the #Combine, one thing is clear: Penn St RB Saquon Barkley is firmly in the mix at No. 1 for the #Browns, sources say. Would be the first RB at that spot since Ki-Jana Carter to the #Bengals in 1995.

This is no real surprise. Already highly-touted, Barkley has only helped his cause with an excellent Combine, and is really standing out among the rest of his class. Perhaps he, paired with a veteran quarterback, could help the Browns take some steps forward next season.
