Watch: Seahawks hilariously stage ‘hit by pitch’ TD celebration
The NFL’s slightly relaxed celebration rules have led to some good stuff this year.
The Seattle Seahawks, for instance, took advantage on Sunday with a baseball-inspired touchdown celebration against the Detroit Lions. Wide receiver Tyler Lockett was the “pitcher” in the scenario, and fellow receiver Doug Baldwin was hit by the “pitch” and charged the imaginary mound.

The score put the Seahawks up 21-7 before halftime, meaning it was pretty easy for them to have fun with things in that scenario. It would have been great had Lockett gone for the full Nolan Ryan and put Baldwin in a headlock, but the spirit of it is in there anyway. Better than an obscene effort, anyway.
