Shedeur Sanders had a memorable experience playing in his first Pro Bowl, but it was not without some letdown moments for the Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback.
Sanders was picked off not once but twice during the exhibition flag football game. His first interception came on the AFC squad’s opening possession, with Chicago Bears safety Kevin Byard making the play.
Here’s a look at that interception.
No pick-six but Kevin Byard gets the INT and a great call by Jason Kelce 😂

Sanders was once again intercepted in the second half, interestingly by another Bears defensive back in cornerback Nahshon Wright, who would have taken it to the house if not for a penalty.

Sanders’ blunders gave several fans new material to pounce on him online.

Sanders shouldn’t have to sweat those interceptions, given the setting—especially the one Byard had, since Ja’Marr Chase should have caught that pass.
When it was all said and done in the game at Moscone Center in San Francisco, Calif., the NFC side emerged victorious via a 66-52 score. The NFC team scored 14 points and allowed none to Sanders and the AFC squad in the fourth quarter to complete the come-from-behind win.
Despite his turnovers and the AFC’s loss, Sanders was appreciative of the time he had in the event.
“Thank you to all the coaches, players, and fans for allowing me to be a part of the Pro Bowl! It was an amazing experience—connecting with the guys, learning, and growing. Truly grateful for the opportunity and hoping to stay connected. Thank you, GOD 🙏🏾🔥 @NFL,” the former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback wrote in a post on X.
