Stefon Diggs oddly says he never had a problem with Vikings
Much has been made over the last week of wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ happiness with the Minnesota Vikings, but he now says there’s no problem.
Diggs has been cryptic in his comments about his happiness with the team. On Sunday, however, he claimed that he wants to stay with the Vikings, and never had a problem with the team.
Diggs says he wants to be in Minnesota. Asked if it is now all good with him and the team, he responds: “it was never not all good.”

It’s worth noting that Diggs winked at the assembled media when answering the question.

The words are at odds with what he said during the week, when he suggested that there was something to the various trade rumors that surrounded him. The Vikings adopted a more pass-oriented attack against the New York Giants on Sunday, and perhaps that made Diggs happier, even if teammate Adam Thielen reaped the rewards statistically more than Diggs did. All the same, that wink is simply going to add fuel to the fire.
Regardless of where Diggs stands, it’s clear the Vikings have no plans to trade him. They will just have to look at ways to keep the standout received engaged on offense.
