Terrelle Pryor will reportedly sign with Jaguars

Terrelle Pryor

Terrelle Pryor has been a major disappointment over the past two years due to a combination of injuries and poor usage, but the wide receiver is hoping to bounce back in 2019.

Pryor visited with the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, and Ian Rapoport of NFL media reports that he is expected to sign with them.

Pryor caught just 16 passes combined during his time with the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets last season, and he had just 20 catches with the Washington Redskins in 2017. He looked like he might have an excellent career after he caught 77 passes for 1,007 yards with the Cleveland Browns in 2016, but so far that has not panned out.

As Rapoport notes, Pryor previously worked with Jaguars offensive coordinator John DeFilippo in Cleveland. The former Ohio State star felt the Jets were partially to blame for his disappointing time there, so perhaps working with a familiar coach will allow him to get back on track.
