
Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Dean Pees was taken to the hospital on Sunday after experiencing a health issue during the team’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.
“Titans Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees was experiencing a medical issue during the game. He was tended to by medical personnel and was transported to a local hospital for further observation,” the team said in a statement.
Pees, 69, is in his first season as the Titans’ defensive coordinator after previously being with Baltimore from 2010-2017. His Titans entered Sunday’s game against Indianapolis first in the league in points allowed. The defense struggled against the Colts in the first half.
