Tom Brady: I don’t care about Greg Hardy’s personal feelings

The New England Patriots have manhandled each of the three opponents they have faced this season, yet the bulletin board material just keeps on coming.

On Tuesday, it was Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Greg Hardy making some questionable comments about Tom Brady’s wife.

“I love seeing Tom Brady, he’s cool as crap,” Hardy told reporters. “Have you seen his wife? I hope she comes to the game. I hope her sister comes to the game, all her friends come to the game. One of my favorite games of the year, guys.”

Brady was asked during his press conference on Wednesday for his thoughts on Hardy’s wisecrack. As expected, the four-time Super Bowl champion didn’t take the bait.

“I’m just getting ready to play,” Brady said, according to Patriots.com. “I’m focused on my job. He’s a great player. It takes a lot of different things to handle a guy like that. He’s been a great player since he’s been in the league. We’re going to have to prepare for him and be ready for all the different types of moves that he’s got. They have a good D-line anyway. They count on getting pressure from their front four to get to the quarterback.

“I don’t really care about his personal feelings.”

Yes you do, Tom, and we don’t blame you.

While Brady has made some funny comments about Gisele in the past, talking about another player’s wife or family is typically considered a no-no. And anyone who knows anything about the Patriots could tell you that they use everything they can as motivational material. You think Hardy’s comments are any different?

One former New England player already shared his thoughts about how Deflategate is driving the 2015 Patriots. Hardy probably just motivated Brady a tiny bit more.
