Tom Brady once headbutted Jerod Mayo and chipped Mayo’s tooth

We have learned a lot about New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during the first of two weeks leading up to the Super Bowl. For starters, we know he likes his footballs a lot less inflated than some other quarterbacks. We also know he is so intense before games that he has been known to inflict injury upon his teammates.

During an appearance on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher and Rich Show on Thursday morning, Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo revealed that he once had his tooth chipped by Brady when Brady was getting fired up for a game.

Jerod Mayo told us this morning that Tom Brady is so intense before games, that Tom once head-butted Jerod, and chipped his tooth.

We’re not surprised. Brady headbutts the crap out of his teammates after touchdowns. He’s also so intense that mothers need to shield their children’s eyes when No. 12 is shown on the sidelines screaming stuff like this during a loss. He’s not your average pretty boy.
