Tom Brady has weighed in on Bruce Arians’ decision to retire as Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach.
In a post to his Instagram, Brady praised Arians as an “incredible man and coach” and said Arians had been a major reason why Brady elected to join the Buccaneers in 2020.

If you’re hunting for any hints of discord between Arians and Brady, they will not be found here. Brady is full of praise for his former coach and offers no hint of any tension between the two.
Of course, this will not necessarily shut down speculation that Arians’ retirement was somehow linked to Brady’s return. Though Arians has denied it, there has been consistent chatter that the pair did not see eye-to-eye in 2021. The timing of Arians’ retirement will only fuel that sort of speculation.
