The two most important players the New England Patriots have on offense missed practice on Friday, but it does not sound like they are in danger of missing Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
According to Jim McBride of The Boston Globe, Tom Brady missed Friday’s session because of an illness. Rob Gronkowski didn’t practice, either, but reports indicate his absence had nothing to do with the knee injury he suffered a few weeks ago.
Rob Gronkowski not out for practice on Friday but it's not injury-related, I'm told.

The Patriots are likely erring on the side of caution this week with an upcoming home game against a 3-10 team. That’s not to say the game is not important, as New England is in control of its own destiny for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs and still has plenty to play for.
With Brady not practicing, that at least saves him from having to answer any more of those awkward questions about Donald Trump. I’m sure he’s not upset about that.
