Report: Tom Brady’s sore back considered minor
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was held out of Thursday’s preseason game, but the back injury that bothered him does not sound significant.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Brady’s sore back is “pretty minor” and there is little concern about him going forward.
#Patriots QB Tom Brady, who was held out of last night’s game, has a pretty minor sore back, source said. Not much cause for concern.

There’s no reason for the Patriots to be aggressive with Brady. He’s played through much worse when it really counts. This is simply a precaution, and there was no reason to risk the superstar quarterback in a meaningless preseason game. It’s not like the Patriots have to fear him not being prepared for the regular season opener.
